Pookie: odie’s not as dry as I thought

Can’t tell you how many times I’ve stepped in a “wet spot” on the carpet which turned out to be where my dog’s head was resting while he took a nap.

Poor Pookie! Get him a rain (drool) ponch!

Maybe Garfield will learn next time to not leave valuables unattended. I remember when my family had a dog, I could not leave my favorite quilt on the floor because our dog would lay on it and lick it and get it all dirty. It always stayed on my bed, far away from our dog, though he didn’t get it as wet as Odie did today.

I remember one strip where Odie was carrying Pookie but Garfield thought that Odie was harming Pookie so he hit Odie with Pookie.

Ship the slobbering one off to live with Bucky and Satchel. Bucky will straighten him out in short order.

Everyone loves Pooky! Including Odie.

Nice of you to give Pooky a kiss, but let Garfield do that.

That dude drools worse than my daughter did as a baby. And that is no small feat.

Odie is very cute, but it’s a shame that he does not respect Garfield’s possessions. Maybe this will change one day.
