    Does this mean that if they chose “Enter” or “Exit”, it’s not their choice?

    Does it mean that they really don’t have a choice of their own (as in the last door has been chosen for them)?

    Is this a test of the power of “suggestion”?

    Enter and Exit are the same thing. You can Enter the room or you can Exit the hall, but you end up in the same place.

    Remember the “Have it your way at Burger King” TV ads?

    The “Push” and “Pull” labels on doors at Burger King have / had something like this:

    PULL

    You can try and have things your way and push if you want, but this door can be pretty stubborn.
