I’m pretty close to not reading this strip anymore, for many reasons. It’s not really funny.

My bet is all three. Though I wouldn’t call it lazy but repulse by the amount of work for a sirloin. I don’t know if there’s is a word for that state of mind in English.

Why can’t we just shoot targets for sirloins?

The authors aught to take a tour of a slaughter house and a chicken processing plant. The problem is the modern population truly has no idea what it takes to put those meats in your grocers’ ice box. Either that or start preaching for everyone to become vegans. Hunting helps maintain herd populations preventing disease and road kills.

Bud just doesn’t want to face the reality that his meat comes from real animals.

I know I am a complete hypocrite when it comes to meat. I enjoy it and buy it, but if I had to kill my own meat, I’d be a vegetarian. Or a scavenger.

Nothing unethical about hunting when done properly. I’m figuring squeamish, with a side of lazy.

Yet, hunting is far more humane than what goes on at the large corporate chicken factories and pig farms.
