What? No beer? You’re going to get awfully thirsty eating all of that junk food. Better check on the batteries for flashlights in the event the power goes out as well.

Get a snowblower, too. It didn’t snow for 4 years after we bought ours.

Even here in Massachusetts, with a prediction on 2-4 inches of snow, you’ll find some people go NUTS and empty the grocery stores of everything that’s “perishable!!!” Trouble is, after that nor’ester, that does not occur, you’re stuck with all that “food” for weeks to come!!!

Depends on if they expect the power to go out, frozen pizzas and ice cream work better with an operating grid.

He’s getting the stuff they will run out of first.

don’t forget the gas for the gas grill… oh wait, how about coals for the BBQ! Unless it’s too cold, but it never stopped my brother from enjoying it. :)

If you live where it gets very cold and storms and snows happen on a regular basis, you should never let your supplies dwindle. If you rush to the store at the last minute, you might go home with nothing, especially if someone picks your pocket in all the confusion in the store.

Don’t forget the beer and whisky!

Rum bourbon and tequila.

You people ever heard of Generators? Heat or cold – Electricity folks. Sure Brutus is civilized and smarter than the average bear. Yogi and boo boo.

Keep Baileys, Amaretto and Peach Schnapps stocked. Medicinal purposes only of course.

Man does not live by bread alone but I will add it to my list if you insist…..

I miss the days when the “big storm” prep included a run to the picked-over video store to rent the leftover titles that nobody in their right mind would want to watch.

we make our own bacon, pickles, and ice cream, so we don’t need to go to the supermarket for those essentials. we just have to eat real quickly if the power goes out…

There are essentials, and then there are essentials . . .

Your a week late, in the next couple of days it’s going up to 50 F, and going to rain. Now if your near one of the rivers, it’s flood time.

If you’re stuck at home, go for the goodies whilst you can!
