I bought my wife the box of chocolate truffles she hinted at. Too bad we both forgot to check the back of the box to see that most were dark chocolate, which only I like.
Cheap Chocolate Day is my favorite holiday. Unfortunately this year the grocery store near me was all out already, and had already replaced their inventory with Easter candy. Oh well.
When we were young, we’d come down to breakfast on Valentine’s Day to find a red velveteen heart shaped Whitman’s Sampler at our places. Dad left them for us every year until we were grown.
