im the lucy here. i have never seen a truffle before

Truffles are endangered because of how exploited they are. Then again, many things are victim of ceaseless persecution.

Then Lucy should be a natual.

The trouble with truffles.

Now they’re worth anywhere from $1,000 to $4,000 dollars depending on the harvest that year.

I thought Lucy was going to get interested when she heard the price. “The truffle-hunter is [IN].”

You have to train your dog to go after Truffles. Does Snoopy know what a Truffle smells like? Or even looks like? For there are different types and they come in different colors too.

The odd thing is you never know where they will grow. One year a certain tree will have large, well grown truffles. The next, nothing at all.

Do the Peanuts girls need prescription glasses. First Peppermint Patty thought Snoopy looked like a boy. Now we find out that Lucy thinks Snoopy looks like a pig!

It’s nice to see that Lucy and Linus are on friendly terms in this strip.

I don’t think Snoopy is that kind of dog. He was raised on a farm, but that doesn’t mean he knows anything about truffle hunting.

I can easily find chocolate Truffles. I’m sure they are way better than something that grows in the dirt and pigs eat. No….truffles taste like chocolate to me : )
