I think Larencr should go home with Michael and stay here for a few days at least. He doesn’t need to be around Greg or Connie right now. Let them feel like the total douchebags they are.
Whether Lawrence likes it or not, his parents were the one providing for him and putting food on the table all these years. If homosexuality is not welcome in their house, that is their right.
Wait, you mean Lawrence is not partaking in arugula salads and fashionable clothes? There are no other gays that are willing to help Lawrence in his time of need? This raises a couple of questions:
1.) Who has been providing for Lawrence all these years; the gay lobby or Lawrence’s parents?
2.) Is it possible the idea of the well-dressed, affluent gay is a stereotype? Could there be LGBT people in poverty?

Asking if he (Michael) could feel angry for his friend was a good thing to say…

In tomorrow’s comic strip, Michael and Lawrence take that anger and go all Will Smith on Connie and Greg.

Sure, as long as you don’t break the windows of the restaurant and go outside and started burning a car. Feel free to empathize.

You would think that Lawrence would at least be surprised that Michael showed up at all in the middle of the night.

It’s truly sad as No matter what Lawrence will never trust his parents again. Even if they allow him home they’ve lost him.
