Love Mr. Danders. For anyone it might make a difference to, guinea pigs are actually excellent pets if you have allergies. Any Allergic reactions are usually to the unfortunate cedar shavings some people use. You should never use cedar in pet cages. 1. It is a very common allergen/irritant, and 2. The scent of cedar is actually a volatile chemical which irritates and damages sensitive small animal respiratory systems, being subjected to it day and night. If you think you can’t have small pets because you are allergic, think back to whether they were housed in cedar. Except for rats and ferrets (which can often be controlled with diligent hygiene of the cage and after handling them) allergies are rare in pocket pets, and guinea pigs are delightful little companions.
The possessive form of class is class’ not class’s if I’m not mistaken. Sort of like referring to something belonging to the Smiths would be the Smiths’.
Swimming against the current (metaphorically), I am not terribly fond of Mr. Danders. I find him to be arrogant, snooty, pedantic, and amoral. He would probably get along with Steve Dallas in Bloom County.…
His escaping Alice is funny. We had guinea pigs when I was young. Occasionally, I would take them into the front yard to graze. If they ever escaped into the geraniums next to the house, it was the devil of a time trying to catch them.

I had a “Petey” moment today at Olive Garden. My Chicken Marsela and Fettucine Alfredo touched.

Though considerably more agitated; Petey’s reaction to Mr. Danders is similar to that when approaching Ernesto.

Interesting name. “Dander” is the word for the tiny fur and saliva particles that trigger animal allergies.
