They wanted $20 a piece for them and you could pick them up in the bead store down the street for $20 a pound (several hundreds of small ersatz diamonds – glass beads).
I often just read this for the dialog. The one where Mac Manc McManx does a commercial for something, I didn’t understand a word of it but I laughed hysterically.
