I need to find a way to lock fridge/freezer. Husband gets in there at night and eats things I have plans for tomorrows dinner. Or opens another bag of frozen fruit when he has already opened 3.
Then how come the last slice of pie sits so long, forgotten, that it has to be thrown out? Along with the leftover stew, cake, soup, roast, etc.
I have to make sure that leftovers (of all types) are placed along the front edge of the fridge shelves or they will tossed out at some point.
Which reminds me – it is Monday night. Time to check the fridge to see what will be too old to eat before next Monday – make note to eat or else freeze it before then! (Weekly pandemic chore so food is not wasted – in normal times eat out most meals at husband’s choice.)

I can’t keep pie in the refrigerator. There’s nothing wrong with the refrigerator but I can hear it calling … calling …

Yes, the thought of it will eat at you until you eat what you are thinking of.
