Peirce of Big Nate does his turn today. As I mentioned last week on the Pastis strip, Sundays have a longer lead time, so I’m guessing this one was also done before Thompson came back.

Where I lived (Chicago) when I was Alice’s age, there were 3 ice cream trucks a day. The last one was for adults because it came after 8:00 when the little ones were in bed. But I usually heard the music and KNEW my parents were eating ice cream without me!
