You don’t often see Woodstock talking to Charlie Brown.

At least this time Charlie Brown got to keep his clothes on. But poor Woodstock…

I’ll bet Woodstock wishes he still had his brick nest from yesterday.

This proves that Woodstock has a spine and can retaliate when his nest is damaged.

Yeah, I’m surprised Snoops is not there acting as interpreter, though he also doesn’t speak with Chuck. A puzzlement, or as Chuck would say, ‘a curveball,’ in the art of the game.

I see Woodstock invented the first Segway. He should sue for royalties

I doubt that’s exactly what Woodstock was saying, Schroeder, but as catcher you’ve probably seen your share of slow and centered pitches, all perfectly suited for hitting come your way. I suppose you, too, have seen enough of Charlie’s pitching leading to home run style hits. Maybe Lucy would be an erratic pitcher, but at least there would be some variety to keep the batter guessing.

Wouldn’t it be easier and more effective for Woodstock to call in his friends from Bodega Bay for that?

Was that really a translation Schroeder, or were you projecting your thoughts?

To me it makes perfect sense that Schroeder understands Woodstock. He’s the most musical, and communication by music is essentially what birdsong is. Pretty cool.

I don’t think Woodstock was quite that polite…

The beauty of other languages. Heck, you can recite a recipe in Klingon and it sounds like you must be cussin’…

Bob Feller once invited his Mother to see him pitch on Mother’sDay.

Mom got hit in the head with a foul line drive to the tune of a black eye and numerous stitches.
