Just think, Paige, in 2 weeks he’ll have more time to prank you.

Believe you me, it ain’t just the kids who are happy about this. The school staff is every bit as ecstatic. I used to work at a smaller high school. The janitors and maintenance staff definitely earn their keep.

I’m looking forward to the end of school this year as much as my granddaughter

I work nights and take her to school after I get off work

A couple more weeks and I can start to relax when I get home from work instead of and hour later

Different school next year, I won’t have to drive her anymore

Jason is the kind of kid who needs to be sent to some kind of summer camp to keep him busy, and out of his family’s hair. Except Paige will have to feed Quincy while he’s gone…

This is a reversal of when I was a kid. The boys hated school, the girls liked it.

I wonder if this was written when “Walk Like an Egyptian” was on rotation on MTV and VH1. Looks like it was. That and “Manic Monday” are two of my favorite nostalgic earworm songs.
