Now 6:30 Calvin can go back and spend 2 hours doing nothing.

And it only took 2 hours of Hobbes’ work.

And Mom’s reason for coming in will either be cuz it’s bath time for Calvin or to check his “homework”.

Did they need a time machine to reach 8:30, or could they just wait an hour?

Mom won’t care if you’re changing Calvin, saying “Don’t come in” is enough to make her break the door down.

Knowing Hobbes, Calvin’s about to be humiliated when that story is read.

I’m looking forward to Mom’s reaction to Calvin’s (actually, the two Hobbes’) story.

And then to Calvin’s reaction over Mom’s reaction!!

I suspect a story written by a stuffed tiger may not get the best grade in class, but perhaps it should.

The mom arriving is obviously preventing the Calvins’ reading of the story the Hobbes-es wrote.

I’m more interested in if an adult actually sees the story, thereby proving Hobbes is real. Calvin wouldn’t write a Tiger story about himself, right?

I’m wondering when the paradox will cause a rip in the space-time continuum & the universe to collapse upon itself.

It’s a good thing the 6:30 Calvin is taking the correct Hobbes back with him. Otherwise, we would have one of those weird time travel paradoxes.

Mom will come in, see one Calvin (in pajamas), one Hobbes (in stuffed animal form, from her perspective), one box labeled Time Machine, and the homework done. Good night, Calvin & Hobbes.
