Bad weather? Rain is good.

You don’t have to shovel rain.

“Don’t know why there’s no sun up in the sky…stormy weather…..” At least there are a lot of “bad weather” songs!

Now I’m in a quandary. Do I put away the snow shovels or wait?

It didn’t take much wind to make the conversation go sideways.

In central VA, snow has been replaced with pollen. So cars that were covered in white are now layered in yellow. Even our Roomba is sneezing.

We had category one hurricane winds in the eastern Sierra and Owens Valley in California a few days ago. Huge trees down all over town, some roofs and sheds ripped apart, broken windows and baby fruit all over the ground. Old timers say it was unprecedented. We are in a terrible drought, some of the higher elevations got only a few inches of snow.

Sideways snow here in MN. FEET of it in ND…

We need the April showers to bring the May pollen.

Out west, we never cuss the rain.

The only way to be done with bad weather is move out of Michigan to a better climate – like Arizona.

He certainly got his timing correct with Michigan’s current wind advisories! And yes, we had the pounding rain a couple of days ago too.

I thought the russian marksmen were after you…

It’s been windy most of the time here in Cleveland,OH. Yesterday a house caught fire over on the East side. Thanks to the wind, it took out four other houses, two garages and a dozen cars.(No people though, thank goodness). 17 fire departments were called in.

There is no such thing as bad weather. Just inappropriate dress.

Weather that causes fires or floods is bad weather – doesn’t matter what you’re wearing.
