when we had older teens in the, time for breakfast started to be an issue. Quickly solved. I cooked food for myself and my hubby. Just as I was about to sit down and eat, one of the kids stumbles out of their bedroom wrapped in shorts and a towel. “Can I have breakfast?” “Sure” I answer and hand them the spatula and point to the carton of eggs.

Consider how relieved he’s gonna be when Momma is alright.

As someone who was woken up by their father to be told their mother was dead, this is pretty harsh.
