Get your lazy kiester down there and recycle them. It’s part of your fitness program.

Locally aluminum is up to 60 cents a pound, I just took in a 22 pound trash bag and got $13.20

Not a fortune, but the most I ever got for one bag

I googled to see how many cans go into a pound, turns out an average can is worth about 2 and a half cents at the current rate

I pick them up on walks, less trash by the roadside and free money for me

These two trash bags full of beer cans would be worth about 30 to 40 € in Germany, due to compulsory refundable deposit on cans and bottles of 25¢.

How ironic! We get about 5 cents each to return a can where I am and the Federal Reserve here in the US had remove 95% of the original value of a dollar since they started to manage it! https://thumbnails-visually.netdna-ssl.com/purchasing-power-of-the-us-dollar-1913-to-2013_517962b78ea3c_w1500.jpg

If that is Michigan, it might be worth something (if the kid has the motivation to drive to a grocery store accepting can and bottle returns)

He better be a single father if he is calling himself the head of the household. If my husband ever tried to claim he was the head of our household, he’d become my ex-husband immediately.

Makes about much sense as crypto currency… and it is about guaranteed to have value tomorrow.

Maybe they live in Michigan. (Remember that one ‘Seinfeld’ two-partner?)
