I use a snow shovel to get it off my screened-in porch.
One good thing about the pandemic: I have plenty of those paper masks left over so I can sweep it up and still be able to breathe afterwards. I also found them to be useful when mowing the lawn.
Georgia has what I call the Yellow Fog. Pine tree pollen. sometimes so thick it is hard to see distant objects. Happens around the time of the Masters in Augusta.
No, when it’s raining is the only time there isn’t a lot of pollen in the springtime. The first round of drops washes it out of the air. One of the many reasons I enjoy walking in the rain.

Spring is a little behind this year in Michigan but yes, our pollen counts are starting to raise—another good reason to mask up!

I have seen my white pine tree release a yellow cloud sneeze of pollen.
