At the grocery store I’m employed at, there’s a bit of a ditch on the property. I hardly notice carts being in there as I collect other carts out of the corrals, parking spaces, and sidewalk until another shopper in the parking lot brings up the topic.

I a bit surprised that Pete is reading a Lio comic. Seems it would contain too much action for his tastes.

Little sisters can be annoying, but they do serve a purpose. Alice is the town/bedroom cryer, daily confirming Petey’s decision to cloister away as sound and prudent.
