We had two nice days, but my wife had to work. She has a three-day weekend, but rain is forecast until Monday.

I have loved rainy days for as long as I can remember. Several years ago, I found out on PostSecret that the term for persons who like rainy days is pluviophile.

I agree with that philosophy also but Van Gogh painted a lot of naked women paintings in his home on rainy days. So much for that boredom thing…..

Why aren’t the marigolds out in the rain where they want to be?

What’s stopping her from planting marigolds in the rain? I love working outside during a shower. Fewer bugs and it’s cooler.

Van Gogh visited the local brothel many times, so I guess he would be right about the passion.

I plant marigolds with my tomatoes so the deer don’t bother them. We usually get more than we can eat off just a few plants. And I don’t mind gardening in the rain if I have a hat to keep my glasses dry and it isn’t thundering.

He was stuck inside with sunflowers in a vase. Starry Night was painted from his view in the sanitarium.
