Of course, looking for zits to squeeze on and applying antiseptic on them is more important than doing chores. Never know who he might bump into at work.

I’m afraid Mike looks to be one of those workers who half does his work, but still expects to be fully paid.

Mike is miles away when Elly and John are talking to him. A brand-new experience usually takes the important things out of the picture.

He’s getting ready for PAYING work. Priorities!

How much time does Elly spend in front of the mirror getting ready for work?

All of his salary is going for zit creams

Checking to see if he needs to shave yet. . . .

We have a term for that… Half-Assed.

Mike, you’ll do that for what seems forever…

At that age, a real job out in the real world takes precedence over all those kid’s chores stuff that need to be done at home. I can remember when my work was far more important than cleaning my room or trimming the hedges.

Work was also my escape from nagging parents.

And that means money!

Elly never asks anything, she DEMANDS it!Oh, and John? Mike has a job now, MOW YOUR OWN LAWN, YOU LAZY JERK!

Let him walk to work. He has not done any chores to get to use the car.

Mike is getting pudgy. You’d think chores and work would make him skinny..

Tough, Mike. Your mom works at the library and your dad works full time at his dental office, and they both still get other chores done. Your first job is not an excuse to not get a couple of easy chores done at home.
