Years ago, they used to have ads for these subliminal self-help tapes. My husband commented that the subliminal message was probably, “Buy more tapes.”

I don’t know if it was an actual con, or just a joke, but I remember a book called something like “How to Make Money”, which had all blank pages except one, and it said “Get another sucker to buy this book”…

Tell her to get two friends to give her a quarter for the idea, then those two friends each get two friends to give them a quarter … Throw in the word “crypto” as often as you can.

It used to be a penny for your thoughts. Talk about inflation.

But isn’t that the alpha and omega of Advertising?
