I remember a Father’s Day strip where Jason tried to mow the lawn but couldn’t make the lawn mower move at all. On the last panel, he went and if I recall told Roger that to do that for him for Father’s Day, and Roger did thank him in an odd way. I thought that was nice.
I see that some here claim that chin-ups and pull-ups are different, while others say they are the same thing. I looked it up, and the article I found on chin-ups says: “It is a form of pull-up in which the range of motion is established in relation to a person’s chin.” The article I found on pull-ups says: "The term chin-up, traditionally referring to a pull-up with the chin brought over the top of a bar, was used in the 1980s to refer to a pronated, or overhand, grip, with a supinated, or underhand, grip being called a “reverse-grip” chin-up. In later decades, this usage has inverted, with some using “chin-up” to refer to a pull-up done with a supinated hand position, while “pull-up” refers specifically to the exercise done with a pronated hand position."
Sounds to me like they’re the same thing, but there has been a recent change in the teminology. I have a question for those of you who insist that these are two completely different things. I’ve seen people do pull-ups / chin-ups with one hand facing one way, and the other hand facing the other way. What do you call that?
