It’s spider season here once more. I go out in morning to feed the 4 leggers and there’s new spider webs every morning.

Just use your smartphone to squish it, then!!

I leave the spiders alone; they eat the flies.

I no longer subscribe to newspapers or magazines, so I use a flip flop

Ah the Sunday funnies were the best when the ink still transferred. Many a Sunday after church with silly puddy, making the comics even funnier :)

I noticed that the last drawing of Garfield looks a little bit rushed.

Our morning daily newspaper is so small we now call it the brochure. Sad, really.

You can also reuse old newspapers from the 1960’s they were stronger and can kill a hundred’s of spiders in 60 years.

Finally, a use for The NY Times besides lining a bird cage…

A lot of people have been saying that newspapers are slowly getting replaced by smartphones.

Garfield is making sure that his newspaper is at least black and white and red all over.

I don’t recommend neither rolling up your smartphone nor whacking things with it. So maybe there is a plus side to the paper…

I grew up in Muncie, IN. Paws, Inc., the Garfield headquarters, is nearby. The morning newspaper was called The Muncie Star. Muncie is known as Middletown, USA. So the name on the newspaper is a reference to those. Yes, I know nobody asked. :^|

Garfield has a good point.

For as cheap as our local paper has gotten (now, only a few thin pages), you could whack the spider, and it would laugh, and just walk off.

I’d use a magazine as well.
