I used to do free-lance computer support. I fixed a woman’s computer problem and she asked me to look at her French boyfriend’s laptop. After I got over the shock of the completely different keyboard layout, I was able to navigate around his French version of Windows because I knew what the most common menu items should say, even though they were in French. Fortunately “Tab” is the same on their keyboard. :)
