I can pretty much never tell the difference when I take them. Guess I’m lucky.

Two edged sword? Now she’ll be too zonked out to make dinner, but then they won’t have to suffer through another tofu casserole.

This is my husband’s life right now. He has a sinus problem & is on Benadryl, so he’s a little loopy. (Not as bad as when I used Contac back in the day; that stuff made me high as a kite!!!)

See, Andi, this is why you take the allergy pill before going to bed.

Antihistamines (Benadryl and others) are the culprit, not decongestants. Of course, a lot of times an allergy med has both in it.

Quick! Ask her to play chess again! You could actually win for once!

I used to sneeze 10 to 20 times every morning plus much nose-blowing. Started using a sinus rinse (recommended by a ENT specialist) first thing in the morning. Now I MAY sneeze once or twice – or none at all – with a corresponding reduction in tissue use. To think I put up with that for years before finally going to an ENT specialist. Better late than never…

I was having trouble with anxiety when I first started teaching (go figure) and was prescribed Valium. I took ½ of one of those little triangles and was nearly useless for 36hrs. I decided the anxiety was better.

I was reading this storyline yesterday! It’s really funny. Also I like how Amend put X’s for pupils in Andy’s eyes.

Someone wasn’t taking her allergy medicine because she didn’t like the side effects. A friend noticed she was having allergy symptoms, and asked why she was off her meds. She replied “I guess I’d rather be sneezy and grumpy than sleepy and dopey.”

You need some proper thyme and hot water. Get your self a bowl, throw in the thyme and pour hot water over it. Then get all those vapours inside your nose. Good thyme never steamed so good.
