“Nod My Faaut” and “Din Do Nuffin’” are very popular forms of denials and have been for years. So is Global Warming, I mean, Climate Change. Super hip ways to deny the obvious.

It’s not so much lack of respect, but more like lack of acknowledgement. Now reach for that soap… and don’t forget to wash behind your ears.

The political parallels here are priceless, but I’ll behave myself.

Denial denied!

DON’T READ – just a long drawn out observation on a very realistic strip of childish behavior in our culture today:

interesting – to me – how easy it is for a simple action to put ALL doubt to rest, yet those who are afraid – for whatever reason – and have the power to do that simple action seem to think they can justify not doing it by pointing out other’s faults or misnomering their words to ease their own minds for not doing that simple action. division and anger are easily created by being sloppy in or refusing to respect others’ perspectives and possible truth with a simple haughty arrogant statement of dismissal to their inquiries rather than a simple action that would alleviate or at least lessen the anger and division. decisive action that brings out the truth or reality of a situation always allows those who are possibly in “denial” to reaccess the truth of the situation. you can be right in thinking the action may not work, but if the situation was reversed would you not appreciate the chance to find out “why” you are possibly wrong rather than someone calling you names and showing no proof and saying they don’t need to “because you’re in denial” when a simple action will prove beyond any doubt the truth of what is being questioned. ie mom puts Calvin in the bath. one lie twisted, one person cheating, one person denying facts and substituting their own has the possibility of causing thousands of people to make poor decisions.

Calvin attempts to deny reality all the time. It doesn’t work.

Denial is not about respect. It’s not about anything but “not”.

Practicing nihilism.

Better than in denial with crocodiles.

being in a state of denial doesn’t stop the thing from happening, it only prevents you from mentally preparing yourself for it.

Especially with baths.

If he manages to deny baths, there will be a certain, er, aroma that nobody can deny.

Rename the tub “denial.”

We all have times we are in denial about something. The question is whether we out grow our denial.
