What’s the difference if he doesn’t fix or clean up the mess while at home or he doesn’t fix or clean up the mess while on vacation. Either way he’ll probably say there is no mess. Besides, any problems have to be someone else’s fault anyway.

My comments yesterday seem to have been largely popular. Brian felt that I had over-analysed the strip with my comment about Halloween but added that I often over-analyze. I happily accept this criticism. I remember Brian once commented on one of my Calvin and Hobbes comments and said that I am “almost as imaginative as Calvin” which I still take as a compliment.

As I’ve mentioned before, Calvin and Hobbes is my favourite strip and the obvious inspiration for my username whereas The Wizard of Id is a strong contender for third place.
