Either way, I’m pretty sure Marigold can handle them because “UNICORN!”

Hmm, well what does Marigold usually do to make Phoebe fall in line when she’s being annoying?

Surely you have a bug repellent spell, Marigold?

I like the fact that Phoebe had almost completed the sentence before realising that the “tiny unicorns” were mosquitoes.

This is probably the funniest joke of this franchise yet.

Imagine if there were vampire unicorns who drew blood not with fangs, but with their horns.

Of course there is a difference between being bitten and hardly feeling it vs being impaled through the chest or face.

I wonder if unicorns get pestered by flies like horses, if they do then it’s probably because they smell like sweet things rather than horses who smell like barnyard animals.

Marigold also once used a charm spell to attract mosquitoes so that they would not bother Phoebe, but then she couldn’t save herself.

So by Marigold’s logic, can she use her horn to suck blood? Wow, I did not need that mental image…

Tiny annoying humans? Aren’t they usually called fairies?

I would have thought that mosquitoes, which are creatures of darkness born of blood sacrifice, would instinctively flee from the sparkling unicorns.

Don’t just stand there, Phoebe, swat those mosquitos and save Marigold.

Genetically, mosquitos are more similar to humans than they are to unicorns.

You are fine. Female mosquitoes in need of blood for their eggs. It will kill them as it is silver and toxic as is the green meat of the unicorn. Only their waste products are tasty and healthy. Marigold is an oxygen breather, so she expels carbon-dioxide which is what the mosquito females are following.
