You are a true procrastinator when you leave spring cleaning for NEXT spring. Then you do it again. ;-)

Two words..Mike and Elizabeth. Why aren’t they helping you out?

Here we go again with the “tireless martyr who does it all and gets no appreciation” routine..

And Then you decide to wait till next spring, if you are really Serious about procrastinating…lol

Many households have both spring and fall cleaning. This was especially true in the 19th century.

Never put off until tomorrow that which you can ignore forever …

Preparing the nest for a long winter.

A serious procrastinator is one who does cleaning in order to avoid having to deal with paying bills.

Interesting, goComics has skipped a cartoon which was between yesterday’s and today’s back in 1993, so as to align up the correct date. That missing cartoon had April answer the phone and the caller asks “Where is your mother?” April answers “Inna house.” Caller says “Go find your mother.” April innocently hangs up the phone and finds her mother doing laundry, hugs her mothers leg “Mommy”. Elly smiles, lovingly.

So what do you call it when you leave your spring cleaning until you’re retired?

Sad thing is no one in her household will notice what she did.

Actually, I use cleaning as a way to procrastinate still more daunting tasks.

I guess it’s about time to take down the Christmas lights from last year.

Spring cleaning used to be when folks would deep clean all the soot out of the house from running the woodstove all winter. With cleaner heating systems I think fall cleaning makes more sense, before we’re all shut up in our houses all winter.

I can do one better – I left my spring cleaning until the following spring. LOL

That’s okay, Elly. You’re doing better than a lot of housewives.

I do a through cleaning in Fall and Spring

Yessir, nothing as smart as climbing up on stepladders in socks with no shoes.

I usually leave mine until next spring. And I somehow don’t manage to get it done then, either.
