At Sir Paul’s concerts these days, the legendary horn solo in “Penny Lane” is played on a synthesizer. BLASPHEMY! Is he really too cheap to hire a horn player? When Wings toured back in the day, he had a four-piece horn section.
When I was a kid, and the Beetles were a new thing, a kid brought a transistor radio to school (they were a new thing, too) and got suspended for the week, not for bringing a radio, but for playing the Beetles. And this was years before their Haight Ashberry days.

On 09.14.22, I was wondering how bluetooth got its name (not a joke) and decided to look it up later. The very next day, Ripley’s had an article about it (also not a joke). I like odd coincidences.

50’s rock and roll….strolling and slow dancing, 60’s great songs and groups competing for #1 hits and toward the end FLOWER POWER & getting high, 70’s everything was GO and big time concerts, and adding sounds and instruments to the music.
