It takes a colored strip to to justice to the full hideousness of Miss Avis’s face.

Avis has had her face lifted so many times that she’s talking through her hat.

This strip makes me think of my mom’s common sense responses to people. She was always a hoot! But kind.

If you don’t like jokes, you shouldn’t feed people straight lines like that.

If I were Nick, I’d let it go. Conversation could get entertaining !

Why do we mock people? A) We like them. B) We don’t. C) they set themselves up. Avis is definitely category C (and sometimes category B).
