Is it too early Linus for the pumpkin-spice?

Pumpkin spice stuff has been around since August. More disturbing is that its not even Halloween yet & Christmas stuff is already showing up in the isles of brick/mortar retail stores.

Next step, cult status!

Sometimes the best characters are never really given the chance that they deserve. Marcie should have been featured in other roles than simply Peppermint Patty’s sattelite (in my view, she is the more interesting character of the two anyway). I would have loved to see storylines focusing on Marcie, and see her interacting with other Peanuts children without Peppermint Patty always having to be around there as well and hogging all the attention. Marcie’s relationship with Linus in particular could have been an interesting one. Don’t get me wrong – I think that Peppermint Patty is a wonderful character. However, I do also think that Marcie has been given a raw deal in the strip.

Disciples of Linus…sounds like a bike gang!

But is Peppermint Patty sitting in a sincere pumpkin patch? That’s the only kind the Great Pumpkin will rise from. Ask Linus.

What’s a disciple?

Red flag.

Peppermint Patty is just gonna find disappointment when the Great Pumpkin never shows up.

Then the Great Pumpkin must be real, how many “Likes” does it have?

last year marcie responded to linus with “I’ve heard about you” this year she’s excited for him? though it’s been a couple of years without a GP story so i’m, pumped.

In 2008 there was a lot of disciples on the Simpsons when the Great Pumpkin really did come up out the pumpkin patch in the Simpsons Treehouse of Horror XIX.

There is a sweet sadness in Linus’ Great Pumpkin devotion…

Well, he already has Sally. But Patty punches harder when she’s disappointed.

Oh, please tell me it’s not that easy….
