Good golly gosh! Yes I remember ‘Earthquake’ featuring ‘Sensurround’ at the cinemas. Was really just huge bass reflex speakers on full blast to immerse you in the scene.

I like the souvenirs they’re taking home.

Universal Studios has(had?) an attraction where you experience a tornado

Some time in the 90’s crashes and bloody mayhem became the ‘main characters.’ overwhelmingly hurtful sound became the trend, and excessively high prices became last straw. We lost interest.

We did. Only the front row was open. We naively wondered what the framework was for, that we could touch if we straightened our legs.

Souvenirs are optional. Hearing damage isn’t.

But the special effects are marvelous.

Now being shown in surround sound AND. surround shock!

I rode that ride at Universal Studios Hollywood…

Thy had an earthquake simulator exhibit at the Academy of Sciences in SF. For all the tourists who never experienced the real thing

Wait until it comes out in 3D.

Ah, “good” old “Sensurround!”
