Serious comment: I was in the restaurant business for many years and then became an instructor for Food Services. So I understand how these people are overworked and underpaid. But I’m still not sure about tipping someone when I arrive for a carry out or at a restaurant where I go to the counter to order and take my food to my own table (and bus it). Obviously now services rendered (as in wait staff). But I still tip so the employees wont leave. Many restaurant in our area are understaffed.
I like that it can pre-calculate your tip for you, and send you an email instead of a paper receipt. I don’t like that the last place I went, the choices were 18%, 20%, and I think 25%. I generally tip 15% unless service was exceptionally bad or good. There was a manual entry field, but you had to enter the dollar amount rather than percentage.

Fang is smart enough to understand what to do without Eno explaining it in front of the waiter.

Fang and Eno showed us what in time will become a good example to follow if you want to survive the cost of living …

It wont be long until the restaurants follow the gas company’s example and makes you pay before filling up.

Just ban tipping and allow the workers to earn an honest wage.

I do hope that he paid and just didn’t leave a tip. Otherwise the next time we see him in court, Eno may not be the jury foreman. :)
