So next on Shark Tank watch how this new invention will save time and effort getting that last 1/16 tsp out of any jar, right after these messages!

One-sixteenth of a teaspoon of mayonnaise isn’t going to make much of a sandwich (tuna or egg salad).

When the price of mayo has gotten that high, a plugger understands that the last 16th of a teaspoon isn’t something to be wasted.

Thus, the plugger doesn’t realize that time flies quicker when you are old.

Would be nice if all containers were made so you could get out every drop of product ;-)

Am I the only who adds a bit of water to nearly empty mayonnaise jars, swishes it around to get thin salad dressing? Similarly, with ketchup and mustard containers. My parents were real Pluggers, from the Great Depression. Nothing got wasted! And I continue their legacy.

That is why I hate squeezable mustard containers with narrow tops. I have been known to cut the almost empty bottle in half, so that I could get the rest of the mustard out. Otherwise, so much gets wasted.

And when he cuts himself with that knife, he will end up at the Mayo Clinic.

I went to store for ice cream yesterday here in Florida. It was almost $9. For Breyers. In Mississippi Saturday and stop at CVS to pick up gallon of milk. It was $7.89 a gallon. Eggs yesterday $4.89 a dozen . This Plugger is fixing to cut down on buying a lot of needed groceries.

This plugger buys the smaller mayonnaise jars because he hates getting mayonnaise on his fingers while trying to extricate that final dollop.

Waste is NOT one of our finer traits. Too many of us raised by Post Depression Era parents.

if you quick splash some water in the ketchup bottle and swish it around to get that last bit of ketchup you are a “waste not, want not” plugger on social security, while the Ukraine government gets billions of dollars to “blow up” Russian soldiers who don’t want to be in their country. funny strange isn’t it? OR maybe we just need leadership that actually takes care of its people and leads somewhere besides hell. js

Guilty as charged. I even go so far as to cut the plastic container in half to retrieve those last few precious ounces.

If you’re a Plugger, you know that’s a job for a rubber spatula, & you probably have several of them in the utensils drawer. Job done in seconds!

I hate mayo. Actually. I hate most condiments [and dressings]. But cooks/chefs seem to want to be mixing mayo into too many things, i can still taste it and it ruins whatever it is in.

As opposed to those dratted squeeze bottles that hold onto several tablespoons of mayo and make it impossible to get out. I’ll take a wide-mouthed jar any day.

I bought a knife with an edge shaped like the inside of most mayo jars. It works very well at getting the last bits. Hubby tried it in the peanut butter jar, worked well there too.

You think those are bad? What about the pump bottles and jars that have a quarter of the stuff left in them when they can’t pick it up any more.

Slightly exaggerated for humorous effect, but very iconic of pluggers, yes. We’re also startled to see the gobs of food the younger generation throws away.
