Like so many, Gladys didn’t marry a husband so much as a pay check.only to discover that it wasn’t as big as what she wanted.

Brutus, just WHAT DID you see in that sharp tongued lady??? ;/

Brutus is wise to take time out from time to time to consider things bigger than him, or even mankind in general. All Gladys needs for personal reflection is a mirror.

If you think it makes man feel small and insignificant, can you imagine how the lowly Earth worm feels like?

what a piece of work is man, how noble in reason…

Brutus really feels like that when he’s at work.

all he has to do is look out of his office to see his slave drivers doing hard working stuff while he collects most of the money for himself.

From that angle, is Brutus sure that he isn’t looking up her nose?

If Brutus is so insignificant, then she must’ve been quite desperate for a mate. No doubt she imagined him becoming head of the company, not the tail end. But, as we’ve pointed out, he may not be the head, but the tail is indispensable.

A discernment like that does sort of put one in one’s place…Brutus might not get there quickly, but he does get there.

A better choice of wording would include “humans,” “people,” or some other term that doesn’t leave out half of the people on this earth. So she’s taller than he is – he married her, she married him, and they have a child together. Life could be so much worse. Like maybe if mama moved in with them.
