Why targeting him?

What nobody (who wants to care about that laptop) will talk about is chain of custody.

It’ doesn’t MATTER what you find on something that could have been altered in ANY WAY AT ALL by ANY NUMBER of interested parties.

They are desperate when they dredge up a highly compromised hard drive.

In the meantime Russian soldiers are murdering musicians, recently a conductor, for not playing Russian music on demand. Of course, Republicans support Russian terrorist attacks over supporting Ukraine in their battle to keep their freedom.

Every strawman deserves some whattabout…

• Russia, feeling bigly after invading Ukraine’s Crimea , flooded the internet with anti-Hillary propaganda, designed & manufactured ICBM engines for North Korea, furnished poison gas, artillery, and troops for Syria’s bloody dictator, deliberately drone, shoot, and shell Ukrainian civilians, slaughtering thousands – all the while murdering and jailing any journalists, cartoonists, politicians, human rights activists, LGBTQ people, and anyone else whom they pleased.

• China, feeling bigly with Hong Kong thoroughly subjugated, the U.S. & world gadget market cornered and spyware ridden, soon to invade Taiwan & claim the entire the South China sea, continues to oppress one fourth of the world population, giving them zero say in how they are governed.

• America, feeling bigly after surviving Covid and Trump, is on the cusp of electing a governing majority of fascist representatives who openly denounce democracy, women’s freedom, and equality.

• The European Union, feeling bigly after having survived Brexit, sees fascism’s return — and shrugs.

• South America has no freedom and soon no forests.

• Africa is as exploited, oppressed, and violently subjugated as ever.

• The Middle East dominated by murderous 12th century oil extortionist fanatics.

• Planet Earth, reeling bigly amidst humanity’s pathetic token efforts at slowing climate change, continues its destruction.

The New York Times, Like the Republicans, do not create reality. Republicans have created and metastasized an ephemeral strawman to replace the fact they have nothing to offer the American people. Except for the MAGAs, attacking the President’s son for political gain hasn’t worked.

The charges against Hunter have nothing to do with the laptop which is tainted evidence. But Ted hates Biden as much as the Republicans do, so…..

I think one could be forgiven for having ignored this story given its origins. Nevertheless, mostly tempest in a teapot. At its worst, this could only prove that Joe & Hunter are better international criminals than the tRump family could ever aspire to achieve. Jealousy?

I’m not a Democrat, and I don’t care much about Biden one way or the other. If there’s reliable evidence that he’s corrupt, he should resign. If not, then leave it alone. What I care about is the health of the country and the world. The Republicans are a danger to both. Yes, I wish the Democrats would favor policies that would really deal with the problems we face. We need to educate the public so they will understand what’s happening and vote for real solutions.

Much like the laptops/phones of trumps friends/family.

Hunter will get a fine, Trump deserves prison.

What a bunch of nonsense Ted is trying to sell us. I don’t think that either the NY Times or the Washington Post ever denied the laptop existed. They DID question it’s authenticity, and can you blame them. The same people who are touting this as some sort of revelation also are pushing the narrative that Hugo Chavez stole the 2020 election from Trump by using Italian satellites and Nest thermostats. You can’t blame them for being skeptical.

It does not really implicate Pres. Biden and it really doesn’t tell us anything about Hunter Biden that we did not already know.

It’s nonsense.

So, Ted, what exactly IS on Hunter Biden’s laptop? We never seem to get around to that.

It basically mentions one email from the laptop. That one involves making sure that Hunter Biden keeps right with FARA – Foreign Agents Registration Act. Other than that, it does not mention any other email in any detail.

Not very Earth shattering.

Yeah, the Hunter Biden story is a big nothingburger, in a sea of nothingburgers.

Well, when we’ve got MAGA-ts photoshopping the faces of prominent Republicans into kiddie porn images, I’m not really sure we can trust a laptop that has been passed from one neofascist sleazebag to another. Consider the source. Also consider that the Hunter Biden Laptop story has been kicking around for a long time now. If people are so confident that it’s The Smoking Gun, why hasn’t it been submitted for official examination by competent cyber experts? And I mean actual forensic professionals, not the “Cyber Ninjas” or some other gaggle of strip-mall scammers. It couldn’t be that they’re scared the Laptop Scandal will turn out to be just another made-up fraud like everything else they’ve brought up, could it? I mean, it just COULDN’T be that — could it?

I have said it before and I’ll say it again, if the data recovered from that laptop provides evidence of criminal activity by Hunter or his father, indict them and have a trial. If it does not provide evidence of criminal activity then let it go.
