It looks like Robert ran inside just in the nick of time, but he’s cutting it close!

At least he didn’t have to change for the audition. Wait until the report comes into MCU. “Bald guy, no pupils, red-striped shirt? That could anybody! Call back when you have something solid.”

Living this double life will catch up to ‘Little’ Warbucks soon enough.

Perhaps King Leering Vitamin will adopt him to add to his collection of misfit children.

At least we’re on time. Let’s get this show started !

How did that fella just happen to be in the right place at the right time and with Rob’s hat ?  Maybe he is part of the racket and the “inside” guy at the playhouse that Steelhead called to get Rob into audition ?

When he was first introduced I assumed Robert was quite young, now I’m thinking he’s just very short, since he appears to have been working for uncle Fagin for years. Or maybe he started hot-wiring cars while still in diapers.

His days are just packed!

Robert’s story reminds me of an anecdote from Al Pacino’s younger days, back from when he was around 20 years old. One nite he was in a car in a neighborhood somewhere in Rhode Island that was stopped by cops after circling around in a neighborhood, the cops found Pacino & 2 others wearing masks & gloves, & a .38 in the car. At the station, Pacino stated he was an actor, & the gun was a prop. Ultimately, no charges were filed. Maybe if Robert gets caught he can argue he was researching his role.

convenient that Robert was in costume (except for the hat,) while boosting cars. Not exactly smart, since IF he were to be spotted, the distinctive clothes could make tracing him easy.

We all live in little prisons of competing expectations, and work to imprison others in our own. It’s called being social creatures. If Sam is successful with his investigation, Robert might eventually spend some time in a tangible prison where he won’t be late for anything.

1-ROBERT: I hate normal sized people. I can barely see over the steering wheels of cars I steal. HOODIE: Yeah, that’s tough. Did anybody see you?

2-ROBERT: Yeah. The cops are a block behind. GOOD LUCK!

Now that’s what I call determination….Robert ran all the way to the theater…barely breaking a sweat.

I can see Robert on Dot and Tonsil’s television show to promote the play, if Vitamin will allow it. Tonsils will show him how to do the hitch hike dance.

When Dean Martin&Jerry Lewis were still young buddies,Deangot in the habit of coming out of his dressing room at the last second,slipping into a pair of loafers on t he run;and just making the curtain.

Jerry put a mess of raw egg,catsup,and cigar ashes into the toesof the shoes—-Dean was halfway through his first song before he realized what he was standing in.

Little Bobby Parrish, the bald-headed Derby Dugan Funny Papers star, arrives for rehearsal just under the wire (because he’s been hot-wiring for Uncle Arceneaux). With signature prop hat at the ready (thank you, props-guy), he sprints to the stage. Probably breathless by this time, can he keep up the multitasking pace, or does one or the other endeavor have to give way? You can be a musical star or you can be a big-time car thief, but you probably can’t be both at once for very long.

Especially not with Sam Catchem hanging around the rehearsals and always subliminally alert to nefarious deeds….
