They are already trying that in AZ. Armed “conservative poll watchers” have been obstructing access to ballot drop boxes.

The GQP membership KNOWS that voting doesn’t work, so there’s no POINT in voting, right?

“The politicians all make speeches while the news men all take note, And they exaggerate the issues as they shove them down our throats; Is it really up to them whether this country sinks or floats? Well I wonder who would lead us if none of us would vote.” (Larry Norman)

Republicans don’t want any of Those People voting. And if they DO vote, Republicans don’t want those votes counted.

Allowing Those People to vote AND counting their votes is the Republican definition of a rigged election.

    .

    Republicans HATE democracy.

Democrats are only voting for those candidates and incumbents who have an appealing, cogent, and viable political platform that advances their districts and States.

Republicans need to follow the Democrat example.

It could be interesting being a poll worker on Nov. 8. I hope it’s downright boring.

“Unless they can pass the same test that immigrants must pass to become citizens, people shouldn’t be allowed to vote. The idea that there is some public benefit in ignoramuses and morons pulling levers next to names on a ballot is one of the evil myths of post-modern America. The purpose of voting, in our country, is to select men and women with the competence and integrity to operate the mechanics of government fixed by our Constitution. For this process to have any public benefit requires that the choices be made on an intelligent, knowledgeable and reasoned basis.”— Charley Reese

We are more. Democrats, independents, women, minorities, and LGBTQ are more votes than maga Republicans and conservatives. If we turn out, we can win; but only if we turn out.

They say over a million people have already voted in Georgia, which is a lot more than voted in 2018, a record-setting year.

As they say, I am preaching to the choir here. Most of you are going to vote. What we need is for all of us to talk to those who can vote but aren’t planning to. Report voter intimidation in your area to the ACLU and State authorities. Offer to drive people to the polls on election day, November 8th. Knock on doors, make calls; every single vote counts this year. Don’t take anything for granted.

    GET OUT THE VOTE!

Hear, hear. I quite agree, Clay. Let the GOPers stay home and not vote as they already believe the election is rigged against them. The GOP, who don’t trust the honesty of the election process, should just stay away and let the rest of us believers do the voting.

Why go to a drop box in AZ when all you have to do is find a mailbox. The former president’s extremist loyal militia cannot guard every mailbox. Bring on the National Guard!

Sadie and I voted today, finishing our vote-by-mail ballots (Washington State).

We are confident our votes will be counted properly.

    How did we vote?

Not to put a fine point on it – we even used blue pens.

We are long-time sailors, and we know that periodically you have to scrub out the bilges to get rid of the mold and the scum . . .

In the 2020 and 2024 general election, the Texas town where I live, Trump flags were right up against the door to the sub-courthouse polling place. We used to have polling places all over the county. In churches, schools, fire department, etc. Now the only place to vote is the sub-courthouse. In 2024 there were people in combat gear, armed with AR-15s, and pistols, swaggering all around the courthouse doors. I have voted my mail since.

Do you think blatant ridiculous lies like Al’s above make them feel better or is it just funny to them to get people to respond to them. There’s no way they’re insane enough to ACTUALLY believe them…is there?
