The biggest problem with political jokes, is that once elected, they are very difficult to get rid off.

I have mused that halloween, dia le mos muertos and election day are often within a fortnight of each other.

Last year election day was only two days away from Halloween, this year it was as far away it could get, eight days. Not close at all.
