It is true. I got in serious trouble more than once at that age for breaking curfew. Funny thing is, my kids just never did that. They were by nature more of homebodies.
I never needed a curfew. I went to a school that loaded me down with so much homework that there wasn’t a matter of even leaving the house in the first place. Oh yeah, this is why all my life since then I’ve refused to accept any job that required more than an 8 hour workday. Never again!
Adolescence is challenging. You’re expected to act like an adult while society continues to treat you like a 2-year-old, you’re facing major decisions that will set the course of the rest of your life, & all the changes in your body that are driving you crazy!
