Long road trips would be a pain, especially if you have to spend 2 hours at a charging station with 3 children.

I have read nothing but bad about EV’s. Like that they take forever to charge and it costs a mint for a new battery or any other replacement. And they’re fire hazards.

Owning an EV involves a lot of compromises (some minor, some pretty major) that I don’t think Princess Zoe would want to make. And she’s not “gifted.” She’s simply parroting something she’s been told.

As long as you have a whole continent banning nuclear (Australia), you’ll never have a clean environment.

More evidence of the indoctrination of our children by the climate change hoax cultists running the government run schools.

Man made global warming is a hoax perpetrated by the global elites through fellow travelers and useful idiots .

Parents. Take control of the cultists running your schools and de-program your kids from the tripe.

HEre, is a good starting point:

“Zoe, we are in an interglacial period. The earth warms and cools natural over time. Many times we have been covered in glaciers. With the natural warming we experience, we have had population booms and growth. During ice ages, people died. Don’t worry, all will be well sweetie. Let’s go get some ice cream in our new SUV!”

I hate it when comics venture into politics and “serious” topics. We need SOME escapism!

You know, the Stanley Steamer was the fastest car of its time – it set a record of 120mph in 1906 – and ran on anything that burned. Maybe we should try developing that.

EV are charged with electrical power generated either from fossil fuels or nuclear power plants. Wind and solar are good but can’t replace all of the the other primary sources of electric power generation. And solar and wind generators have their environmental issues. Face it, there is no magic/silver bullet

Nope…I will stick with my internal combustion engine car. You do what you want. There is no reason people should be forced to buy something they don’t want. I miss the days when comics entertained and didn’t virtue signal.

EV buses in Europe are catching on fire. Florida could not maintain fire suppression on EVs and moved them to fields spaced safely apart due to spontaneous combustion. One man living in a condo said he did not think it through since there isn’t a charging station there. He also said the parts are defective.

EV would be ok until you have to get from Michigan to Florida to say goodbye to someone very dear. The 45 minute to three hour recharges would be very frustrating.

In the late 1800s and early 1900s Motorized Carraiges were built that were powered by internal combustion (gasoline) engines, steam (just realized I’m not sure about the fuel) and batteries. Ford was planning to manufacture a battery powered car art one point. No matter what powered them they were looked on as saving cities from a horrible pollution problem, horse dung. Nobody foresaw the air pollution and greenhouse gas issues we are facing today. EVs? Battery disposal is a big one, as is problems associated with the mining of the materials used in them, And that electricity has to come from somewhere! I some ways they are a big improvement, but in others….

EVs use more ore and planetary substances than fossil fuels. Strip mining cannot be good for the earth!
