Wren is to smart for her own good. She should have waited for the presents to be hidden. Then checked out the closet.

You’ll have to learn something other than pig latin. How about something they won’t learn in school like swahili?

Hahahaha But in Wren’s defense, Pig Latin is the easiest code ever. The parents should consult with Calvin and Hobbes. They’ve got some unbreakable, if convoluted, codes.

Wren’s face sitting in the closet is just too cute!

Our parents resorted to stashing them at an older (no kids) neighbor’s house.

Wow! Wren must be smarter than she looks! I did not understand any of that at all!

Not her language, as kids know when parents switch to pig latin or even spelling words, that they are up to something. Previous experiences, good guesses or the time of year can give clues as to why, what and where.

Next time they should try communicating in Ubbi-Dubbi.

Wren has already learned several languages at her young age…“baby talk”, English, pig latin, and sarcasm(from her siblings).

Try Klingon, girls don’t speak Klingon. ’Course, Darryl will have to teach it to Wanda… ☺

The house I grew up in had a very deep entryway closet. For some reason, it was always locked in December.

I mean, Pig Latin is pretty much a language designed for small children, so the thought that you can use it to sneak something past them—

What is weird is I don’t know a lick of pig-latin yet I read the pig-latin dialog as if it were English and I understood it. O.O

No surprise a toddler understood it completely too if that is the case. =3
