When the British asked Boeing how to test their windshields, Boeing said with frozen turkeys, the British shot one through the windshield and it landed near the rear of the aircraft, then Boeing explained to them that they needed to defrosted them first.
Fact about turkeys: if you pen them in a high pen they will fly out. However, they won’t fly out of a low pen; they will walk around and around it because they don’t want to use the energy to fly!

Wild turkeys can fly. They roost in trees at night. Domestic birds are so overbred they are unable to fly.

When I used to buy frozen turkeys, they were always in a mesh bag that had a handle.

If you’re going to try “Frozen Turkey Bowling” at work, talk to the night stock crew at the local super-market for hints before that first toss.

In my teens I was a bag girl at a supermarket. I once dropped a 17 pound frozen turkey on my toe.
