Can still remember fighting with my mother to not buy corduroy when shopping for new pants. About 12 yrs old, I think, up til then, sheâd always gotten me corduroy pants. Hated them!
I had friends in college who told me they always knew when I was coming to their room because they could hear my elephant bells swishing. Much groovier than cords swishing!
