i would say that is one long game and you only have one life and when the game is over kid, it is over!

Yes, the DMV near me is that crowded. They need to open more local offices.

I was there from 9AM to 3:30 the last time.

Currently reading the first two collections of BATPIG by a farmilar artist.

I thought we played video games to ESCAPE the pressures and duties of real life, not EXPERIENCE them. ;D

I moved to Indiana back in 2,000, and I have never had to wait longer than 15 minutes at the DMV. These days we even have computerized vending machines to renew your plates there, which cuts the time down to 5 minutes, or you can do it online from home. Are we the only efficient state?

once I was there, holding a ticket with number 873 and they were calling number 42….

We needed to renew registration mid Covid and did not trust getting them by mail (on DMV’s end not USPS’s end) and did not want to be in the DMV during Covid.

But we are (long time) AAA members and they had been advertising for a few years that one can do most DMV things at their offices. I called, made an appointment, with the AAA office near us (in Walmart’s parking lot) and we went in. Out in less 15 minutes. Can also do many other DMV services there.

I know it goes against stereotype, but I’m usually in and out within a half hour. An hour tops.

That’s just a little too real

what we’ve found in japan is that it usually takes under 10 minutes to take a bad photo…

Our BMV allows you to make an appointment online, but I think I am the only one who knows about this feature. I walk in & go to the head of the line, like I’m a VIP or something. Sweet.

That’s fast; last time I missed a comma and had to go to the back of the line. Luckily, it was near an Arby’s.

I’ve been through DMV in eight States, never had a problem or a long delay.

Yeah, the trouble with real life is that there’s no fast forward until you’re over 60.

It reminds me of the Bureaucracy game Douglas Adams created a long time ago.

Our state has retained post covid appointments. Works much better than walk-ins.

That must be a big city problem. In 15 years I’ve visited my local DMV three times and never waited more than 5 minutes.

Must be in San Pedro.

You need to come to Indiana. We get you in and out in less than 10 minutes, most of the time. NO one has to wait hours.
