local eatery makes the best holiday french toast. I’ve tried their Banana Caramel and the Chocolate Strawberry. The perfect balance of egg, bread and sweets. But if I get another I’ll ask for a extra little cup of whipped cream instead of syrup. The cream melts on the warm breakfast.

Biscuits and Gravy. And two poached (solid whites, runny yolks, please) on the side. To die for. Perhaps literally.

Yeah, it IS hard to assign chores when you’re napping, which is why my wife has hit upon the clever idea of adding them to the running list on the front door as soon as they occur to her. Which is often. 10 seconds to think of, another 30 seconds to jot down, and never more than 2-3 hours to actually do.

I guess we’re not supposed to wonder how a child that age can afford to take his parents to a restaurant.

The kids got it right. Heavy meals make you sleepy. Obesity in the USA. Wonder why.

I wonder what sort of momentum you have to have to remain upright with that kind of tilt.

What 3rd grader can afford $40 to take his parents out for breakfast (more if he has siblings)?
