Off topic: I wonder if, among all the supposed holy relics sold through the centuries, if anyone ever had the temerity to pass off one of baby Jesus’ diapers? And would it still be Aramaic? :/
Have you ever stolen? Lusted after another person? Used God’s name as a curse? Failed to love your neighbor as yourself? I have. We have all violated God’s law. “…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…”Romans 3:23
Should we be judged for our moral failures? Who will judge us? Our rebellion against God is why we die. “For the wages of sin is death,…” Romans 6:23
That is why Jesus came to earth … to die so that we can have our sins forgiven. “but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
If you change your mind about your sin, agreeing with God that you have rebelled against him, and if you trust in Jesus’ death, then he will forgive your sins. “because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
According to the myth, they’ve already been through a lot, and the worst is yet to come. So it would be nice if God gave Joseph a nudge toward the best present. But I wouldn’t count on it.

I wonder how much that little floating golden circle is worth. They can’t have been very common, and scarcity breed value.

I don’t understand today’s comic. It definitely does not deserve a gold medal. Frankly, it makes no sense. Stop – no myrrh, please.
