Only for one more week until Winter Solstice. Then daylight starts getting longer..

Shorter, longer, either way I’m getting older so time is passing faster. ;-).

    Life is weird.

And just as one begins to get used to DST, winter hours arrive to keep one unsettled. When that settles out, daylight becomes longer and throws us off again. Fortunately, one’s tummy keeps track of meal times and that works for me.

Will there be a similar type of cartoon during the summer when the day never seems to end?

Spent 10 years in and out of the high Canadian Arctic, this time of year daylight is a dull glow on the horizon

They do indeed, and that stupid “Daylight Savings Time” crap doesn’t help. I’ll be sooooo glad when it’s gone.

I agree! It starts getting dark @ 4:30.

Well, first of all, it’s still autumn. Daylight has been shrinking for us in the north since June. I actually look forward for winter to begin and seeing more “daytime”.

Doesn’t anyone ever write from the Southern Hemisphere?

During the winter months, while working twelve hour shifts in the Navy, I would go to work before the Sunrise and would get off after Sundown in a building with no windows.
